Project to build a bitumen refinery in Kribi, Cameroon
All Bitumen Cameroon, Plc plans to build and operate a 10,000-barrel/day mini oil refinery on a 60-hectare site already allocated in the industrial zone of the deepwater port of Kribi, which will supply the raw material; the bitumen plant in gestation will have a production capacity of 250,000 tons/year. The total investment cost of the plant construction project is around 161 million euros.

Setting up this plant will put an end to bitumen imports into Cameroon, reduce the cost of road infrastructure in the country by 30%, and generate nearly 400 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs.
